Water Colour- Giving it a start

After so many days of life without art, here is how I give it a start. It just came out of my mind, just like we blurt out somethings without our knowledge. I just wanted to see how good are my hands with brush after a long break. And I feel my hands are good enough.

Oil Painting- A tribute

That was done by sister when the Kargil war broke out...
There is meaning for everything that's done- Pakistan is being made into a scare crow, just because.. It wasn't its idea to break the war, meaning to say it was someone else's idea to do so... And the helmet over the gun is a mark to indicate the death of a soldier... And the cloth coming on to mother India is given by the sun(Dharma)- which means good would always be victorious over the evil.. And there's a man who is resting on the bed of arrows(Bhisma) indicating there were many soldiers just like Bhisma was, who sacrificed their everything for their country...And mother India is sheltered by a tree, I still haven't got idea about it... Please tell me if u come to know.. After all its a critic who gives makes a painting alive, rather than an artist. Posted by Picasa

Water Colour- Solitude

Water colour by my sister... Here's a minaret amidst the wild greens... It looks isolated... Solitude could just be the word... Solitude helps u to realize yourself, your uniqueness, just like this minaret which stands tall, uniquely, clearly distinct from its surroundings, you could pull yourself out of that crowd sometimes...Posted by Picasa

Water Colour- Broken faith

Water colour by my sister. Here's a temple in the laps of the nature... Silent, very silent indeed, the walls of which are broken, and why not? Who trusts god, who fears god, death is taken for granted, killing in the name of religion, robbery is just the thing no one cares about unless u r the victim... Posted by Picasa

Water Colour- Uncertainty

That is my sister's work...Very best... Good experimentation.. That white pieces are got by pressing a white clothe against the wet painting... Flawless... Uncertainty could be a perfect title to this work... which of course is the present status of ur surrounding.. You can't predict what would happen the very next minute... Whether it be yourself, your property, your job, your love, sensex( ;-) ), Friendship? I only hope friendship wouldn't land up in uncertainty...Posted by Picasa

Oil Painting- Speed

That one is done by my sister too. It is oil colour... Its titled speed... Three horses in this work look so fierce, so wild, so vibrant, the colour used(i.e. Shades of orange) adds to the speed of the horse, or the speed of the age, that pushes u into the thought that if only u were like those horses, if only u could catch up with the pace of the age... Oil Painting- Challenge

That is one more master piece by my sister... Oil colour... The waves hitting the rock... Force... What else could help u evolve but force, Those challenges, those problems at which every man frowns... The weeds on the shore are rather pale, lifeless and its not worth a second look, but those in the sea, you can hardly call them weeds and about the second look, there wouldn't be a second look as u can hardly take your eyes off them. Why is it so? could it be that the harshness or the force of the tides that they face is lot more than those in shores, in other words challenges help them evolve? Is it? Posted by Picasa

Water colour- Heaven in green

That is spot painting by me. The location is Alooru, I don't know which district is it in!, Each and every drawing after this, including this one is done by me... I would definitely love to tell you about this place. We stayed at our sir's relative's place.. And early morning at 6 we packed some delicious food and left to this beautiful place... 45 minutes of walk, and you would love that journey, but alas! we(me and my friend) didn't enjoy it, as we had to carry loads of painting materials with us and of course the food too. There were 8 of us excluding our sir and unfortunately 2 of us were the only older boys(13 i guess), so we were burdened with those loads.. But when we reached that place, both felt that it was all worth it.. It was so beautiful, I didn't feel like leaving that place(after we were done with our painting), it was all green, and nothing but green. And there was a river too, most of u woudn't even get to see such places in your life time..Posted by Picasa

Oil Painting- Lord ganesha

That is my sister's last painting... She completed just a month before she passed away.. Although she is no more, she has made her presence felt to her loved one's through her paintings and this blog will stand as a testimony to her passion. Posted by Picasa

Dot drawing- Kuvempu

This is dot drawing done... One of the easiest... The person in the drawing is Rashtra Kavi(A poet.. India's asset) Kuvempu.. One of the best poets that our Karnataka has produced... There's one thing about me.. I like to paint, but i hardly take care of those works, this is one such drawing, on the left bottom of the work, the mark you see is of coffee, i spilt it, i blame noone for that.. Posted by Picasa
